Our Story

We are Frankie and Dawa, a passionate duo based in Auckland, New Zealand. We design and handcraft premium leather belts from full-grain Italian leather. Our journey began in early 2024, born out of a desire to revive the craftsmanship and detailing that have been lost in modern production and design.

By Combining Dawa’s expertise in digital design, photography and videography with Frankie’s background in machining, toolmaking, and leatherwork, we bring together the best of traditional skills and modern technology. These skills are critical when it comes to designing the patterns, making the tools and handcrafting each belt.

Our philosophy is focused on responding to the modern minimalism of today’s world. Instead, we aim to infuse every belt with beautiful detailed patterns that ascend being merely an accessory and instead into pieces of wearable art.
